How do you remove the front and rear heater/air conditioning control assemblies? Posted by Customer
A:
To remove the front A/C switch assembly, start by removing the main instrument panel bezel. Then, remove the switch assembly retaining screw and move the switch assembly outward on the left side to release the retaining tab on the right. Carefully disconnect the electrical and vacuum connectors and remove the switch assembly. For the rear A/C switch assembly, carefully remove the rear switch assembly trim bezel and release the switch assembly by inserting a screwdriver into the tab slots and moving the tabs inward while pulling on the switch panel. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the switch panel from the vehicle. To reinstall, simply reverse the removal steps, ensuring that all connectors are replaced correctly and that the switch assembly snaps securely back into place.
