- A:To remove the insulator panel in the passenger compartment under the glove box, start by working near the blower assembly to disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor resistor/module. Then, remove the mounting screws and take out the resistor/module from the blower housing. For the blower motor, begin by disconnecting its electrical connector and removing the mounting screws to detach the blower motor assembly. Next, remove the blower motor fan retaining clip and separate the blower fan from the motor. To reinstall, simply follow the reverse steps of removal for both the blower motor resistor/module and the blower motor.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
