- A:The Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is on the right side of the charge air cooler cover, near the front. First, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the engine cover. Next, disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, which is located on the right side of the charge air cooler cover. After that, disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor. Then, unscrew the sensor from the charge air cooler cover. Install the sensor and tighten it to the torque. The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist

- A:Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor for 5.7L (LS1 and LS6) and 6.0L (LS2) engines. Loosen the intake air duct clamps and MAF sensor-to-air filter housing clamp. Separate the intake air duct from the throttle body and MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, then remove the sensor from the air filter housing. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the clamps securely. For 6.2L (LS3 and LS9) and 7.0L (LS7) engines, note that on supercharged 6.2L (LS9) engines, the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is a separate sensor mounted on the charge air cooler. The MAF sensor is located on the side of the intake air duct portion of the air filter housing. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor. Unscrew the mounting fasteners and remove the sensor from the air intake duct. Installation is the reverse of removal.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
