How do I remove and install the throttle body and gasket for Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon? Posted by Customer: A:
Remove the air intake duct. Disconnect the electrical connector and the evap canister purge line from the throttle body. This includes disconnecting the EVAP purge line and the throttle body electrical connector. Proceed to remove the mounting bolts and remove the throttle body and gasket. This involves removing the throttle body mounting bolts. Ensure to remove all traces of old gasket material from the throttle body and intake manifold and install a new gasket. Install the throttle body and tighten the bolts. The remainder of installation is the reverse of removal.
