    Q:
How to Remove and Install Halogen Headlight Bulbs on Buick Enclave? Posted by Customer
    A:
Firstly, you need to remove the inner fender splash shield to get rid of the halogen headlight. The second step involves locating and turning off the round cover that safeguards bulbs anti-clockwise. It will thus open it up into bulb(s). Then from the headlight housing take out a bulb as you disconnect an electrical connector. You can fix this by connecting the new bulb holder's electrical connector then properly aligning and installing it into the housing. Finally, turn it clockwise so as to lock it in position and check if the light is working or not. Lastly, install back on a cover, inner fender splash shield, wheel and lug nuts afterwards lower down your vehicle then tightens all lug nuts according to torque specifications provided for.

How to remove the Headlight Bulb on Buick Rainier? Posted by Customer

Remove the headlight housing and the access cover from the headlight housing. Twist the bulb holder counterclockwise and withdraw the bulb holder and connector from the housing. Unplug the electrical connector from the bulb holder. Handling the new bulb only by the bulb holder portion, reconnect the electrical connector, and insert the new bulb/holder into the housing. Twist the holder clockwise to lock it in place, then install the cover. Installation is the reverse of the removal.

    Q:
How to replace the Headlight Bulb on Chevrolet Cobalt? Posted by Customer
    A:
To get the headlight housing out of Cobalt models, all you have to do is pull it out so that you can reach the bulbs from behind. Turn the headlight retaining ring to the left and remove the large bulb holder in order to change the bulb. The installation is done by doing exactly opposite of what was done during removal. On ION models, pull out the headlight housing and then remove round dust caps above bulb sockets. Unplug the electrical connector for a light bulb on a car and turn it 1/4-turn counterclockwise to disengage it from a headlamp assembly. When fitting a new lamp into its socket, align three notches on its base with lugs inside light assembly. The installation process is otherwise identical to that of removal. For sedans, take out inner fender liner and unplug connectors for lamps. Twist headlight bulb in counterclockwise direction and remove it before replacing. The installation procedure is contrary to what was performed during dismantling.

    Q:
How to replace a headlight bulb on Chevrolet Silverado? Posted by Customer
    A:
The process to change right-side truck model bulbs starts with removing the air filter housing. The replacement process for a left-side bulb on a truck model with an auxiliary battery requires first removing the battery from its position. Use a twisting motion to separate the headlight bulb electrical connector while rotating the bulb holder clockwise and finally removing it from the housing. The steps for installation follow the exact opposite process for removal.

    Q:
How to replace interior light bulbs,Fog Light Bulb and Instrument Panel Light Bulb on GMC Terrain? Posted by Customer
    A:
Exterior light bulbs are made up of the following; front turn signal/parking light bulbs, fog light bulbs, center high-mounted stop light, rear brake/tail, turn signal, brake and back-up light bulbs, license plate light bulbs. Interior light bulbs include reading light bulbs, cargo and dome light bulb, and instrument cluster light bulbs. To replace these bulbs follow the steps below. For front turn signal/parking light bulbs remove headlight housing then turn the bulb holder counterclockwise then pull the bulb out straight from its holder then reverse installation by reversing the steps above. In case of any difficulty while replacing a fog lamp bulb, jack stand should be used to raise the front end of the vehicle so as to easily access backside of fender liner. Fender inner liner or splash shield also needs to be removed in order to get access to fog lamp electrical connector. After that counterclockwise rotate it until you can remove it then attach new one and use reverse procedure for remounting all other parts. While replacing center high mounted stop lamp you will need to take upper interior trim panel away from liftgate hence giving space for spoiler mounting screws removal before disconnecting electrical connector prior installing new unit using this same process in reverse order. For rear brake/tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, and backup lamps-open liftgate window first then get upward vision at both screws that hold taillight housing on place before pulling entire assembly outwards followed by turning bulb holder against clockwise direction so as to take off lighting source from socket itself before returning everything back as it was originally organized. Open liftgate and take out two screws holding license plate lens cover until you manage pulling off a little glass with your fingers followed by reversing these steps for installation purposes only if needed (as per user manual). To replace interior lights like reading lamp one should remove its lens which is normally located at front or centre area, then pull out a light bulb thus reversing above described steps. Other types of interior lighting devices such as cargo or dome lights can be repaired by unplugging both leads (they are often located on either side of fixture) after unscrewing lens from each one to get access its socket before returning everything accordingly. Instrument cluster lights need the user to remove the entire instrument cluster in order to reach the bulb socket where they can make small movements using a tiny screwdriver so that it comes off from there and reverse procedure will cover this gap between old installation removed during both disassembly stages.
