To remove the dashboard center trim panel and vent assembly, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the center console shift lever trim panel and storage tray if you have a 2015 or earlier model. Next, remove the instrument panel accessory bezel. For 2015 and earlier models, disengage the upper and lower retaining tabs and remove the A/C switch from the accessory bezel. For 2016 and later models, remove the A/C switch fasteners. Finally, on 2016 and later models, pull the A/C switch out from the instrument panel, disconnect the electrical connectors, and remove the A/C switch. To install, simply reverse the steps of removal and reconnect the battery.
