- Q:How do you remove and install the air filter for the 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood? Posted by Customer
- A:To remove and install the air filter, locate the air cleaner in the engine compartment. Inspect the flexible air intake ducting for cracks and tears. Remove or disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, if equipped and mounted in the air cleaner housing. Loosen the intake air duct clamp and remove the air duct as necessary. Disengage the fasteners securing the top of the air cleaner. Carefully tilt the air filter cover back to expose the element. Remove the air filter element. Wipe out the housing with a clean rag. To install, position the air filter element in the housing, making sure it seats properly. Install the air cleaner cover. Connect the intake air duct and tighten the clamp. Install the IAT sensor, if removed, or reconnect as necessary. Install the air cleaner fasteners and tighten as necessary.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
