Then, disengage the fuel level sensor wiring harness from the harness guide and disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector from the pump module cover. To remove the fuel level sensor unit, depress the locking tab and slide it off. It's important to note that no further disassembly of the fuel pump/fuel level sensor assembly is possible. For installation, simply slide the fuel level sensor unit into place on the fuel pump module until you hear a click, and then gently pull on it to ensure it's locked into place.
