- Q:How to remove and install a wiper motor and linkage assembly? Posted by Customer
- A:Mark the positions of the wiper arms on the windshield, then remove the nuts and detach the windshield wiper arms. Remove the cowl covers. Remove the wiper motor cover by removing the bolts/nuts and detaching the wiper motor cover. If necessary, rotate the linkage so the wiper arm is opposite the Park position for clearance. Detach the wiper motor electrical harness grommet and push the harness down into the cowl plenum. Remove the wiper motor/linkage retaining bolts. Detach the wiper motor/linkage assembly from the cowl. Detach the linkage drive link from the wiper motor arm. Remove the bolts and detach the wiper motor from the wiper linkage assembly.
