Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Remove the insulating panel from below the dash and under the glove box in the passenger's side footwell by removing the fasteners under the glove box in the passenger's footwell. On 2015 and earlier models, and all 2.5L engines, remove the right side floor air duct fastener and air outlet duct. For the blower motor control module, note that on 2015 and later 1.5L and 2.0L models, the blower control module is incorporated into the HVAC control assembly. On 2015 and earlier models, and all 2.5L engines, disconnect the electrical connector at the blower motor control module. Also, on these models, remove the control module mounting screws. Installation is the reverse of removal. If a new control module is being installed, the unit will have to be programmed and setup by a dealer service department or other qualified repair shop. For the blower motor, remove the insulating panel from below the dash and under the glove box in the passenger's side footwell by removing the fasteners under the glove box in the passenger's footwell. On 2015 and earlier models, and all 2.5L engines, remove the right side floor air duct fastener and air outlet duct. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector, remove the mounting fasteners and lower the motor assembly out of the housing. Installation is the reverse of removal.
