To remove the radiator, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal and raising the vehicle on jackstands. Remove the lower splash shield and drain the cooling system, saving the coolant if it's in good condition. Detach the radiator hoses and the expansion tank hose from the radiator. Remove the radiator support bracket mounting bolts and brackets, as well as the condenser upper mounting bolts. Take out the cooling fans and disconnect the transmission cooler lines. Remove the condenser lower mounting bolts, push-pins from the sides of the radiator, and side seal panels. Carefully lift out the radiator, making sure not to spill coolant or scratch the paint. Clean the radiator and inspect it for leaks and damage. To install the radiator, inspect the rubber insulators in the lower crossmember and ensure they're in good condition. Seat the radiator correctly on the insulators before fastening the top brackets. Fill the cooling system with the correct mixture of antifreeze and water, start the engine to check for leaks, and add more coolant if needed. If working on a vehicle with an automatic transaxle, check and add fluid as necessary. For the charge air cooler radiator, follow similar steps, including disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal and raising the vehicle on jackstands. Remove the lower splash shield and drain the charge air cooling system, saving the coolant if it's in good condition. Remove the front bumper cover and disconnect the charge air cooler pump to radiator hoses. Disconnect and plug the power steering cooler hoses. Remove the charge air cooler radiator-to-condenser mounting bolts and lower the radiator out of the vehicle. To install, reverse the removal procedure, fill the charge air cooling system with the correct mixture of antifreeze and water, and bleed the system. Top-up the power steering fluid, start the engine to check for leaks, and add more coolant if needed. Check for power steering fluid leaks and add fluid as necessary.
