- A:With the subframe removed, support the transaxle with a transmission jack and remove the bolts from the transaxle-to-engine brace. Remove the starter and flywheel cover, and mark the relationship of the torque converter to the driveplate. Push the torque converter into the bell housing and remove the lower transaxle-to-engine bolts. Mark the position of the driver's side powertrain mount bolts and remove them, along with the mount-to-transaxle bolts and through-bolts on the front and rear mounts.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
