    Q:
How to replace the Throttle Position Sensor on Saturn LS? Posted by Gaven F.
    A:
For four-cylinder models, start by turning the ignition key to OFF. Disconnect the TP sensor electrical connector, then remove the TP sensor mounting screws and the sensor itself. Discard the old sensor O-ring and install a new one before placing the TP sensor back, ensuring the flat sides of the hub align with the flat sides of the throttle plate shaft. Coat the threads of the mounting screws with a thread locking compound before installation, which should be done in reverse order of removal, ensuring the screws are tightened securely. In V6 models, the TP sensor is integrated into the throttle body and cannot be removed separately; if replacement is necessary, the entire throttle body assembly must be replaced.
