- A:Loosen the left-front wheel lug nuts, then raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the wheel. Remove the inner fender splash shield. Remove the VSS hold-down bolt and clamp, then pull the sensor out of the transaxle case using a twisting motion. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to lubricate the O-ring with clean transaxle lubricant before installing.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
