How to replace the flywheel in V8 engine on 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

The driveplate replacement for V8 engines follows the same procedure as for V6 engines, utilizing the specified torque figures. If the spacer between the driveplate and the crankshaft is stuck and needs to be removed, insert M11 bolts, 1.5 mm long, into the two threaded holes in the spacer. Tightening the bolts will help to force the spacer off the crankshaft.
