To solve the problem one has to disconnect the thermostat by pulling the connector off the hose, thirdly, you will have to remove the screws, lock washers and retainers and finally take out the throttle position sensor that is mounted on the
Throttle Body assembly. If necessary, unscrew also the screw which fixates the actuator to the end of the throttle shaft. For installation make sure that the throttle valve is in its normal closed idle position and fix the throttle position sensor on the throttle body assembly with the sensor pickup lever resting on the upper part of the tang on the throttle actuator lever. Next fit the retainers, screws and the lock washers and apply a thread locking compound on them, but do not tighten the screws at all until adjustments of the throttle position switch is done. Solder three wires on throttle position switch and the three on harness connector, with the ignition switch ON use your digital voltmeter connected to B & C terminals to adjust the TP switch for 0.35-0.45 volts. As indicated tighten the mounting screws and once again read through to see that the accuracy of the adjustment is intact. Lastly, shut down the ignition, and take out the jumper cables, reconnect the harness to the (thermostat) throttle position switch.
