    Q: How to remove and install the Window Motor on Buick Century?
    A:
    On 1975-83 models, start by removing the door inner panel and the interior pad to remove and install the window regulator motor. The soft sealer should be peeled off from the water deflector. All way up, tape the glass to the upper door frame. Remove the regulator and glass, disconnect the electrical harness, and drill out the rivets attaching the motor to the door. Use new rivets to install the new motor and reconnect electrical harness. Lastly, follow these instructions to install window and regulator. For 1984-87 models, remove the door trim panel, insulator pad, and inner water deflector. Tape secure window on top of door frame. Drill holes in three dimples on inner door panel using hole saw. Remove motor attaching bolts, disconnect wiring harness and take out motor through access hole. To install lube motor drive gear and regulator sector teeth. Install regulator motor onto regulator with teeth properly meshed then tighten three mounting bolts. Apply waterproof tape over any holes outside this sealing area of water deflector before installing trim.
