How to remove and install the windshield wiper and headlight/turn signal switches on Cadillac CTS?

Take off the cable from negative terminal of the battery. Lose the knee bolster trim panel, the knee bolster, and the steering column shrouds. For removal of the windshield wiper switch on the 2007 and earlier model, there are screws on the top side of the switch and there are others around the switch housing and one has to unscrew them then remove the switch. For the wiper switch on the 2008 and late models pull the locking tabs located at the top and at the bottom and pull the switch out of the housing. Removal is the process of which installation is the exact opposite. For the headlight / turn signal switch you have to take out the screws at the top and a side of the switch, then take it out of the switch housing on 2007 and earlier models. Refer to Fastener's identification section for fastens needed to remove the headlight/turn signal switch for models produced since 2008 Remove the headlight/turn signal switch by pushing the locking tabs that are present at the top and bottom of the switch. Removal on the other hand is the process of dismantling the pest control products and equipment from the area and installation is the process of putting the pest control products and equipment in the area.
