Lift the car and secure it properly, letting all front suspension components hang free. Remove the wheel and tire assemblies. Unbolt and take off the bar links from underneath the control arms and the bushings from the frame. Untighten and remove the cotter pins and nuts from the tie rod ends, separating the tie rod ends from the steering knuckles using J-24319-01 or its equal. Take off the exhaust pipe from where it connects to the exhaust manifold. Adjust the passenger side strut to point fully right. Push down on the Sway Bar Kit while sliding it over the steering knuckle. Once you see the frame, pull up and the Sway Bar Kit will come off. As you install, place the Sway Bar Kit over your steering knuckle, raise it up until it's level with your frame, and then slide it into its final position. Attach the mount bushings loosely, and then join all Sway Bar Kit link parts to the lower control arms before tightening anything. Attach the steering knuckle tie rods ends, fit and tighten the tie rod end nuts to 35 ft. lbs. (48 Nm), adding new cotter pins when possible. To install the cotter pin when it won't go properly due to wrong placement, tighten the nuts to a maximum of 52 lb-feet (70 Nm) torque while trying to push it through. Tighten the square bracket bolts on the Sway Bar Kit to 35 ft. lbs. (48 Nm) and the round link nuts at 13 ft. lbs. (17 Nm). Lock the exhaust tube to the engine manifold by turning bolts to 15 ft. lbs. on 1990-91 models and 18 ft. lbs. on 1992-93 models with a torque wrench. When needed, take out the CV-joint boot protection equipment, put the wheels back on, and let the car down to its normal position.
