Tighten the front wheel lug nuts, bring the vehicle to a stop, set the parking brake, apply the break, and lift the front part of the vehicle before placing on jack stands and then remove the front wheel. With the tie-rod placed on the flat sections, use a wrench to loosen the jam nut so as to show the position of the tie-rod end in relationship to threads. Lose the tie-rod end ball stud nut without totally pulling it away, then, remove the tie-rod end from the
Steering Knuckle arm by using a puller and removing the nut of the tie-rod end. Remove the nut of the tie-rod-end and unbolt it from the tie-rod. For installation, pass the tie-rod end through the marked position and then pass the stud through the hole on the steering knuckle arm, then tighten the jam nut. Place the nut on the ball stud and take the measurements of the torque to the right amount. Lastly put back the wheel accompanied by lughnut and raise the automobile, and then indexed the lughnuts to the required torque, please also note to check your automobile for wheel alignment if the need arises.
