How to remove and install a Trunk Lid Lift Support on Chevrolet Camaro?

Untwist and keep the trunk open, free the metal locking clip at the ends of the Trunk Lid Lift Support by unscrewing it. Subsequently, there is need to take out the Trunk Lid Lift Support from the ball studs. In installation simply do the reverse of the above stated removal procedures and make sure that the arrow on the Trunk Lid Lift Support faces upwards towards the roof of the car.
