    When replacing the A/C switch, it is important to disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and remove the center console. Remove the screws mounting the A/C switch panel to the instrument panel. Then, pull the switch out, disconnect the electrical connectors, and remove the A/C switch from the panel. Installation is the reverse of removal.
