Q: What is the recommendation for replacing the TP sensor on Chevrolet Corvette?
A: For 2007 and prior models, the TP sensor is built into the electronic throttle body and cannot be repaired separately. To change a TP sensor, change out an entire throttle body. In 2008 and newer models, you can replace the TP sensor/cover, but this should not be done. If there is a problem with intermediate gear chip, loose TP terminal connector or drop/misalignment of throttle body or TP sensor, then the throttle body assembly must be replaced.
