The back-up light switch is located midway up front side of the transaxle. Start by removing the electrical connector of the switch after that, undo the screws that hold the switch on the case, and finally, eliminate the gasket, and dispose of it. For this purpose, do not round off the corners of the switch and for its removal a socket or box-end wrench should be used but not the open-end one. Thread should be cleaned, sealant should be applied, new gasket inserted and screws for the switch must be tightened appropriately. Last but not the least, retain the electrical connector, and study the function of the back-up lights.
