How to remove the upper column cover from the steering column cover on Chevrolet Cruze?

Turn the steering tiller to the left to the lowest point. For the 2015 and the earlier models, to get to the column cover, one has to unclip and then lift the upper column cover. To disconnect the steering wheel for 2016 models and onwards: first, take off the instrument cluster trim panel, turn the steering wheel in the fully anti-clockwise direction, look for the small tab of the upper panel over the face of the lower trim cover panel and unclip the tab using a screwdriver. Second, turn the steering wheel clockwise 180 degrees, detached the hook of the upper trim cover form the surface of the lower trim panel at the same time, the final step to pull the upper column cover forward and upward to disengage other four clips and then take the panel off. With the upper cover out of the way, take out the lower cover mounting screws: the screws behind the upper edge of the cover on both sides, and the bottom screw in the steering column lower cover. Removal on the other hand is achieved by performing the exact opposite of installation.
