In the later models of the Chevrolet El Camino, features such as power door locks has been integrated in the electrical system with the use of electric actuators that enable the driver unlock and lock all the doors from a single switch. Other form of operation on modern Chevrolet El Camino models may include, the use of remote keyless entry system through the sending out of a coded signal from a key fob to the receiver of the car.
