To install, new O-ring seals should be placed onto the A/C accumulator fittings, with a thin layer of refrigerant oil applied to the seals. If a new A/C accumulator is being installed, 1 ounce of fresh refrigerant oil should be added. The A/C accumulator should be securely mounted using the proper torque specifications.
