How to remove a steering wheel on Chevrolet Equinox?

To remove the steering wheel, start by turning the wheels straight ahead and disconnecting the negative terminal of the battery. Wait for the airbag system to lose power. Locate the holes on the back of the steering wheel and insert small blunt tools to release the airbag module on both sides.
