How to remove and install the Hood Cable on Chevrolet K1500?

Remove the bolts from the upper left portion of the radiator grille. Disconnect the cable from the latch release, disengage the two cable clips, unbolt the hand lever in the passenger compartment, pull the cable through the fire wall and finally remove the clip from the engine compartment. Installation is the reverse of removal.
