Chevrolet Malibu Engine Oil Cooler

To prevent the oil from getting too thick, a Chevrolet Malibu Engine Oil Cooler maintains a safe temperature of the car's lubricant. The oil needs to be thick enough to prevent damage to moving parts yet thin enough to flow throughout the engine with ease. Most Chevy versions employ a compact Engine Oil Cooler oil-to-water heat exchanger that shares coolant with the radiator, so the oil warms up quickly after start-up while capping peak heat during hard pulls. The function of the Engine Oil Cooler is to take away excess heat from the engine oil and transfer it to the antifreeze mix in order to prevent thermal breakdown. As hot lubricant flows through passages bathed in coolant, the Engine Oil Cooler performs this function. Earlier Malibu packages that warned of heavy loads had plate units at the filter base. On the other hand, later Malibu turbo trims merge a stacked-plate core into the front cover. It's the same idea but a different size and mounting. If the coolant side of the Engine Oil Cooler clogs or corrodes, it can lose efficiency or cause cross-contamination of fluids. Therefore, fresh coolant is important for overall Chevrolet durability. This is particularly important for Malibu owners facing steep grades or stop-and-go traffic. If in good condition, the Engine Oil Cooler quietly protects power, mileage, and long-term Chevrolet smoothness.

Each OEM Chevrolet Malibu Engine Oil Cooler we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.
