How do you install and replace Muffler and Tail Pipe on a Chevrolet Nova?

Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Loosen the clamp to remove muffler and tailpipe of a single exhaust system. For dual exhausts, cut off or loosen clamp to take out relevant muffler and tailpipe. To install new ones, align the exhaust pipes with the slot in the muffler. Connect tailpipes onto hangers before tightening all clamps and attachments. Check that an area of at least ¾ inch thick is available between floor pan and any exhaust component. In conclusion, lower the vehicle to the ground.
