  A: Place the removed fuel pump/fuel level sensor on a clean surface. Disconnect the sensor's electrical connector and wiring harness. Remove the fuel level sensor from the pump module. If any component is defective, replace the entire module. To reinstall, slide the sensor into place until it clicks and verify its position. Follow the removal steps in reverse for installation.

  A: At first, disconnect the cable from the negative side of the battery and release the pressure in the fuel system so that you can remove the fuel pump/fuel level sensor. Remove the fuel tank, then disconnect both evaporative (EVAP) vent line and fuel tank vent line fitting as well as two quick-connect fittings on the fuel supply line from the mounting flange of the fuel pump/fuel level sensor. With water pump pliers, rotate off a lock ring of a fuel pump/fuel level sensor using care not to damage a float arm and a float of a fuel level. After checking o-ring it may be necessary to replace one before installing a new pump. During installation, align these marks made on this flange with those on a tank and carefully put down this flange into their seats where my float arm or even floats will neither be harmed nor damaged when they are placed until they reach there at all.
