- Q: How to Remove and Install the Air Filter Box on Chevrolet Trailblazer?A:To remove the V6 model, begin by removing the radiator diagonal brace (if equipped). Then, loosen the screws that hold the air cleaner cover and remove the air filter and tube from the lower housing. Remove the two nuts that hold the air filter box and washer fluid tank. Disconnect all electrical connectors and remove the box. To remove the resonator, disconnect the Intake Air Temperature sensor connector, loosen the clamps securing the resonator, and detach the duct. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line at the resonator and remove the mounting bolts. Lift the resonator up and disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the valve cover. For installation, simply reverse the removal steps.
