To remove the V6 model, start by removing the radiator diagonal brace (if equipped). Then, loosen the screws that hold the air cleaner cover and remove the air filter and tube from the lower housing, which also serves as the windshield washer fluid tank. Remove the two nuts that hold the air filter box and washer fluid tank. Disconnect all electrical connectors and lift the box straight up to remove it from the engine compartment. To remove the resonator, disconnect the Intake Air Temperature sensor connector, loosen the clamps securing the resonator to the air intake duct and throttle body, and detach the duct. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line at the resonator and remove the mounting bolts. Lift the resonator up and disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the valve cover. For installation, simply reverse the removal steps. To remove the V8 model, start by removing the radiator diagonal brace and the radiator air intake baffle. Loosen the screws and lift the housing cover to remove the air filter element and separate the MAF/IAT unit from it. Disconnect the headlamp washer hose (if equipped) and the electrical connectors for the windshield washer, headlamp washer (if equipped), low fluid level, and liftgate washer pump (if equipped). Disconnect the forward lamp harness clips and the windshield washer solvent hose. Loosen the clamp securing the MAF/IAT sensor to the housing and remove the housing mounting nuts. To install, simply reverse the removal steps.
