Loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, place it securely on jackstands and remove the wheel. Remove the splash shield from under the front axle. Remove the left driveaxle. Drain the lubricant from the front
Differential. Disconnect the lower stabilizer bar link from the lower control arm. Pry the seal out with a seal remover or pull it out with a slide hammer and adapter. Drive in a new seal, using a seal driver or a socket slightly smaller in diameter than the seal. Lubricate the lips of the seal with multi-purpose grease. Fill the differential with the proper lubricant. Install the driveaxle. Reconnect the lower stabilizer bar link. Install the splash shield, if equipped. Install the wheel, lower the vehicle and check for proper operation. For the left side seal, remove the driveaxle. Drain the lubricant from the front differential. Pry the Differential Seal out of the end of the axle-shaft tube with a seal remover or pull it out with a slide hammer and adapter. Drive in a new Differential Seal, using a seal driver or a socket slightly smaller in diameter than the seal. Lubricate the lips of the Differential Seal with multi-purpose grease. Reinstall the driveaxle.
