This lock cylinder is attached to the trunk through the use of two lock nuts and washers or through the use of a retaining ring at the interior surface of the trunk. First of all, get behind the car and release the hinge of the trunk lid and then unscrew the two retaining nuts, washers and guards or unify the retainer around the cylinder. Following that, one will have to uninstall the lock cylinder. When installing the unit the lock cylinder shaft must move and come into contact with the lock.
