The adjustable pedal button, instrument panel dimmer switch, and fog light switch assembly is located on a small trim panel to the left of the steering column, and while not all vehicles have all three switches, the following procedure applies to all. Begin by using a trim panel removal tool or a thin piece of wood or plastic to carefully pry the panel housing the switches out of the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connector(s). To remove any of the switches from the trim panel, squeeze the retaining tabs and push the switch out. For installation, push the switch into the trim panel until it snaps into place. Reconnect the electrical connector(s) and align the mounting clips on the panel with their corresponding slots in the instrument panel, pushing the panel firmly until the clips snap into place. For the hazard flasher switch, remove the center trim panel, pop the switch out of the panel, and disconnect the electrical connector. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
