To remove the throttle cable, one needs to remove the throttle lever cable by pulling the connector towards the front and up from its place on the lever pin. Then, for the final clip on the cable housing turn the tangs inwards towards the bracket and push the housing through the bracket if necessary with some needle nose pliers. There should be clips or straps that keep the cable on the transaxle, these should be unbolted, then the following step would be unscrewing a bolt that secures the cable on the transaxle and then pulling out the cable upwards until it detaches. Pull the cover up until the far end of the cable is exposed, loosen the link from the transaxle throttle cable by gripping it with needle nose pliers and pulling the cable over the pin and out of the car. To install the cable, attach it to the transaxle throttle cable link; cover the cable and then take it to the top of the engine; push the housing through the bracket and hear the clicking sound; put the connector over the throttle lever pin and pull back to lock it; fasten the cable if there are clips or straps. In case of adjustment, it is advised to make sure that the engine is turned off, in the process of adjusting, one has to press the re-adjust button and move the slider of the fitting away from the throttle lever as far as it is possible in order to release the button. Twist the throttle lever clockwise to the end and you will hear a click at the readjust tab, and release the throttle lever for further adjustments. Do not over tighten the cable; if much force is required, then unbend the cable at the transaxle end and rotate freely, if still difficult then either the cable must be replaced or the transaxle link or throttle lever is a problem.
