Saturn LS Antenna

The highly vital role of the Saturn LS Antenna is to attract strong radio signals for drivers to have good entertainment and communication while on the road. Early versions had a tall steel mast that extended nearly forty-five inches and had to be lowered by hand before entering garages. Later Saturn models featured slimmer masts and even hidden units tucked into the windshield or the rear glass to preserve a low profile. All styles have the same working idea, a thin conductive tube or element that is connected by wires to the receiver and a built-in amplifier that together convert incoming radio waves into an electrical current the stereo can amplify for crisp AM or FM sound. Three main styles can be seen throughout the LS lineup: an internal Antenna set inside glass or a panel, an external hood or trunk mounted Antenna made of metal or fiberglass, and a roof mounted satellite Antenna that unlocks higher fidelity digital broadcasts. The main difference between them is based on placement and signal range, with the satellite option granting the greatly wide coverage and the internal style having the greatly clean look without the extra use of moving parts. Saturn owners like the fact that each type of LS Antenna keeps installation simple and without bulky hardware.

Each OEM Saturn LS Antenna we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Saturn LS Antenna Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove the antenna from sedans and station wagons on Saturn LS?
    A:
To even dismantle the antenna from sedans, one has to unscrew the antenna mast from its base and then have it pulled out. Locate the access panel for the vehicle jack, it is usually on the left side of the trunk and get rid of the jack. COOL Next, remove the Antenna Mounting Bracket Nuts and pull the Antenna and Mounting Bracket Assembly through the hole in the rear quarter panel. Remove the connection between the interior lead of the antenna and also the lead of the antenna base. During installation, the process should be done beginning from the last step you made during the removal process. However, before that, first of all unscrew the Antenna mast from its base and pull it off. To get to the antenna mounting base you have to take off the rear headliner molding and lowering the rear portion of the headliner. As with sedans, for the station wagons one has to unclip the coaxial plug located at the base and then remove the big wingnut. Pull out the coaxial cable from the connector connected to the base lead of the antenna, unscrew the large nut on the base of the roofing mounting and take off the base. Installation is done in reverse order of the way it is removed.
