Saturn LS Power Window Switch

With Saturn LS Power Window Switch, drivers have fingertip control over every piece of moving glass. That is to say, they can raise or lower each window with a simple press, which sends electricity to the door-mounted motor and begins the smooth sliding. Power Window Switch works in a similar way to a household light switch. The circuit gets complete only while your finger is on it. Hence, energy flows to the motor only long enough for the window to reach the desired position. This prevents unnecessary battery drain. The main armrest houses the driver-side master Power Window Switch, which connects the circuit for all four windows. This allows quick ventilation or fast sealing of the cabin without leaning over the seats. Individual door modules use the same Power Window Switch principle but govern only their own motor, giving passengers independent control. This dual setup is appreciated by many Saturn LS drivers as the master unit adds to convenience while the satellite switches keep the individual happy. Over the years, the layout never changed. The differences were limited to the number of buttons present on the master panel versus the single toggle on each one of the secondary Power Window Switch. Thus, Saturn owners can expect the operation to be very familiar across successive model years of their sedans. The uncomplicated design makes it easy for LS doors to provide reliable and predictable glass movement long term.

Each OEM Saturn LS Power Window Switch we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Saturn LS Power Window Switch Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove and replace Dimmer Switch, Hazard Warning Switch, Power Window Switch,Seat Heater Switch and Turn Signal Flasher on Saturn LS?
    A:
The center trim panel contains up to five switches, including the driver's seat heater, fog lamp, hazard flasher, traction control, and passenger's seat heater switches, with all except the hazard flasher controlling optional accessories. To remove the left heated front seat and fog lamp switches, tabs on both sides of the switch housing must be released using a small screwdriver or pick, allowing the switches to be pushed out from the backside; this method also applies to the traction control and right heated front seat switches. The hazard/turn signal flasher and switch unit, located centrally in the trim panel, controls the turn signal lights and exterior lights, with an audible click indicating proper function. If the turn signal indicator flashes rapidly, it may indicate a blown bulb, while failure of both turn signals on one side could suggest a blown fuse, faulty flasher unit, or a broken switch. The fuse for the turn signal and side marker lights is found in the engine compartment fuse/relay box, and if blown, wiring should be checked for shorts before replacing it. To replace the hazard flasher and switch assembly, tabs on both sides must be released, and the assembly pushed out from the backside, ensuring the new unit matches the original. For vehicles with both traction control and heated seats, the switches are part of the same assembly and must be replaced together if defective. The instrument panel dimmer switch requires the removal of the knee bolster and the left vent/dimmer switch assembly retaining screw, followed by pulling out the assembly and disconnecting the electrical connector, with the dimmer switch removed by depressing locking tabs. Power window switches in the center console can be pried out carefully with a panel removal tool or screwdriver, followed by disconnecting the electrical connector, with installation being the reverse of removal.
