Saturn LS1 Car Speakers

The Saturn LS1 Car Speakers transmit both music and navigation sound by taking power from the stereo and using specially engineered drivers. These drivers use polypropylene or high-grade paper woofer cones blended and coated for stronger bass. They pair with silk-based tweeters able to reproduce high notes with more smoothness. Butyl rubber or urethane surrounds keep movement controlled even on rough roads. The Car Speakers are usually classified into two main styles. The first is the highly common full range units, which combine the woofer and tweeter in a common casing. The second is true component Car Speakers. Moreover, component Car Speakers separate the tweeters, woofers, and an inline crossover to improve the separation of high and low frequencies. Therefore, this results in less distortion. Furthermore, the tweeters can sit higher in the cabin for better imaging. The two styles rely on proper RMS wattage matching between the amplifier and speakers, as well as sensitivity ratings to play loudly without damage. Saturn owners should be aware that the component sets in the LS1 may cost more than standard pieces because they include their own crossovers and additional mounting hardware. In every case, properly powered Car Speakers keep the LS1 cabin lively, making every Saturn trip feel shorter and more enjoyable.

Each OEM Saturn LS1 Car Speakers we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Saturn LS1 Car Speakers Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove and install the car speakers on Saturn LS1?
    A:
To remove the radio ,first you have to remove the center trim panel and then the radio mounting screws are to be unscrewed and the radio is pulled out of the dash. Remove electrical connectors, the antenna cable and the ground strap from the back of the radio but do not completely remove the radio. To gain access to the front door speakers, first, remove the front door pull handle, then disconnect the electrical connector from the tweeter-to do this, pry the two locking tangs apart slightly and pull the tweeter out. Got to be the simplest process to explain particularly owing to the fact that it is the opposite of removal. To disassemble the lower front door speakers, take off the front door trim panel and turn the screws that are attached to the speaker; pull out the speaker and detach the electrical connector. The process of installation is just the opposite. For the upper rear door speakers, there is a rear door pull handle which must be unlocked then the electrical connector to the tweeter removed and to ultimately pull the tweeter out pulling at the two locking tangs. Installation, on the other hand, is done in a reverse sequence. To take out the lower rear door speakers, first customers have to take off the rear door trim panel, after that unscrew the speakers, then pull the speakers and disconnect the electrical connector and then take out the speakers. The installation, on the contrary, is the one I've just described. For rear speakers which also could be subs in some models the process of sedans is even easier-you have to take off the rear window shelf to see and get to the subwoofer mounting screws, then just pull out the subwoofer and disconnect the electrical connector. Installation is the reverse. In station wagons, you'll have to unscrew the subwoofer mounting bolts, taken off the subwoofer grille, and disconnected the electrical connector that is involved; to install, the process is the reverse one.
