Disconnect the PCV fresh air hose from the valve cover. Loosen the clamps at the Air Filter Box and the Throttle Body (Throttle body clamp and air duct bracket bolt). Remove the air duct push-pin retainers from the support bracket and lift off the duct. For 2002 and 2003 V6 models, loosen the clamps at the Air Filter Box and the throttle body. Remove the two mounting bolts from the duct and lift off the duct. For 2004 and later V6 models, loosen the clamps at the Air Filter Box and the throttle body seal. Remove the mounting bolt near the air cleaner and lift off the duct. For the Air Filter Box, loosen the clamp and detach the duct from the Air Filter Box. If you're working on a V6 model, disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor (3.0LV6) or the IAT sensor (3.5L V6). Remove the Air Filter Box mounting bolt and lift off the housing (Air Filter Box mounting bolt/Disengage the Air Filter Box from the body as you lift it off). Installation is the reverse of removal.
