How to replace the hood latch and Hood Cable on Saturn Vue?

Here, to remove the latch, the following steps should be followed; open the hood, scribe the latch so that there is a line around it, remove the hood latch retaining bolts that fix the latch to the radiator support and take out the latch. Alternatively, one has to pull out the hood release cable from the latch next in the procedure. To the cable, initiate from the passenger compartment, where the cable can be pulled out of the handle after detaching it from the retainer. Then go to the engine compartment and cut the hood release cable from the latch and then released all the cable retainer clips in the radiator support and inner fenderwell. Last but not the least, perform the actions that were done in the course of the removal in the opposite sequence.
