Remove the trailing arm bracket-to-body mounting bolts and the trailing arm-to-knuckle mounting fasteners.

Loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle, remove the wheel, detach the ABS sensor wiring harness, remove the nut and steering knuckle-to-balljoint pinch bolt, separate the ball joint.

Scribe an alignment mark on the adjuster link adjuster cam to the subframe.

To remove the control arm, start by loosening the front wheel lug nuts and raising the front of the vehicle. Securely support it on jackstands and remove the front wheel. Then, separate the balljoint from the steering knuckle and remove the control arm-to-subframe fasteners. Discard these fasteners and remove the control arm. For installation, use new fasteners and tighten them to the correct torque specifications. Also, tighten the wheel lug nuts to the appropriate torque. When it comes to bushing replacement, the front bushing is not replaceable, so if it is worn, the control arm must be replaced. For the rear bushing, mount the control arm in a vise and remove the bushing-to-control arm bolt. Discard the bolt and replace it with a new one during reassembly. Remove the bushing from the control arm shaft. To install the new bushing, use a new bolt and tighten it to the suitable torque specifications. It's important to note that neither the front nor rear bushings are replaceable, so if either are worn, the control arm must be replaced.

To remove the lower control arm, first remove the coil spring and mark the position of the adjuster cam to the subframe before unscrewing the nut. Then, remove the control arm-to-subframe pivot bolt and detach the arm from the subframe.
