The reservoir cover and diaphragm should be removed, and any remaining fluid in the reservoir should be discarded. The brake master cylinder can then be mounted in a vise, and the roll pins, reservoir assembly, proportioner valve cap assemblies, primary and secondary piston assemblies, and the reservoir diaphragm and cover should be removed. The brake master cylinder and its components should be cleaned and inspected for damage. The primary and secondary piston assemblies should be reassembled with new seals, and the proportioner valves should be lubricated and installed with new seals. The reservoir should be inspected for damage and the new O-rings should be lubricated and installed. The reservoir retaining pins should be driven in, and the reservoir diaphragm and cover should be attached. The brake master cylinder should be bench bled before installation, and then it can be installed and the brakes should be bled at each wheel.
