- Q:I am seeking a transmission oil pan gasket for the above referenced 1990 buick. VIN 1G4HP54C3LH40672 Transmission type TH440 gmpartsgiant.com website returned the above referenced part number (8678681) but it does not appear to be the correct gasket. The transmission oil pan on the Buick has 19 bolt holes and is shaped somewhat like NY state. I hope to locate a neoprene replacement as there is an unbroken ridge along the top of the oil pan that according to NAPA's instructions (provided with the filter) necessitates a neoprene gasket.
