- A:The MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located on the air intake duct, next to the air cleaner, specifically at the air filter housing. Start by disconnecting the cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor. Proceed to loosen the clamp screws that retain the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor to the air filter housing and air intake duct. Detach the sensor from the housing and duct.
