- A:To remove the throttle body air inlet duct, release the cable from all retaining clips and retainers. Pry the cable end off of the transaxle selector lever ball stud and disconnect the cable from the retaining bracket near the lever by squeezing the tabs on the cable housing. Disconnect the cable from the shift lever and tie a piece of wire or cord to the end of the cable before removing it completely. Slide the cable out the front of the shifter assembly, under the carpet, and out through the firewall.Posted by GMPartsGiant Specialist
