    Q:
How do you remove the front Brake Calipers for the 1999 Cadillac DeVille? Posted by Verified Customer
    A:
Start by loosening the lug nuts on the front wheels, but don't remove them completely. Then, raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on jackstands. Remove the front wheels and wash the brake assembly with brake system cleaner. Disconnect the brake line from the caliper and plug it to prevent contaminants from entering the brake system and minimize brake fluid loss. Next, remove the caliper mounting bolts and detach the caliper from its mounting bracket. You can Select Your Vehicle to see complete installation and repair tips.
