For the fuel tank pressure sensor, raise the vehicle and place it securely on jackstands. Remove the fuel tank and disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. Use two screwdrivers to pry under the sensor and rock it out of the fuel pump module.

To remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid, start by turning the ignition key off and locating the solenoid. On 2008 and later 2.0L turbocharged engines, it is located by the oil filler cap, while on other models, it is at the flywheel end of the cylinder head. Disconnect the solenoid's electrical connector and the inlet and outlet purge line fittings, capping the lines to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the EVAP system. Remove the mounting bracket bolt and separate the solenoid from its bracket. For the EVAP canister vent solenoid, raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the mounting bolt at the rear of the canister, lowering it down. Rotate the vent solenoid counterclockwise to remove it from the canister. To remove the EVAP canister, disconnect the hoses and remove it. For the fuel tank pressure sensor, raise the vehicle and place it securely on jackstands. Remove the fuel tank and disconnect the electrical connector from the sensor. Use two screwdrivers to pry under the sensor and rock it out of the fuel pump module. Installation is the reverse of removal for all components.
